About URFuse : noun, Electric device that is designed to limit the electric current in a system. Unfused : adj, In the meaning that the system (in this case, the record label) is not limited in any way. Indeed, another label is born and a new wave is coming. Will it differ from existing labels? Definitely. In the years to come, we will try to release original music material that will have a solid impact on the electronic music industry style. Also, the label will not only release original material. Our team will try to coordinate special collaboration of our affiliated artists with other producers to create remixes and mash-ups of actual and past hits. The record label is not only a simple platform to release music. It is also a medium which is dedicated to research in music and technology. Through the artists affiliated to the label, we will perform research including on the following subjects :
Unfused Records is also proud to be affiliated to Wave Studios Mtl. Wave Studios is actually the studio and technical entity of the record label. Unfused Records used Wave Studios facilities and equipment for its production and research. Also based in Montreal, Canada, Wave Studios is a rental supplier of specific Dj booth systems for incoming international Dj performers. Wave also operates 2 studios, one that is equipped with the best Dj gear including 3 Technics turntables and pioneer mixer. The other studio includes a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) with many soft synths and some real outboard analog gear. A perfect environment for producing and mixing. For the mastering work, it is either done internally or sent to other companies depending on the project needs. |
